Association for Psychological and Educational Research in Kansas (PERK): Annual Conference 2017
November 3 - November 4
The annual meeting of the Association for Psychological and Educational Research in Kansas (PERK) will be held at Benedictine College in 2017. The PERK conference represents a great opportunity for undergraduates to present their research and theoretical papers. The deadline for submissions is October 20. Although this is a Kansas organization, students and faculty from the Missouri side of the state line are definitely welcome to attend and present at the conference!
The conference this year will be November 3-4. We’ll begin with a teaching pre-conference on Friday afternoon, featuring a keynote address by Dr. Cindy Woolridge from Washburn University. In early fall, we’ll solicit submissions from other faculty members interested in sharing their own teaching innovations, and we’ll have a panel of recent psychology graduates sharing their advice and experiences with interested undergraduate students. Student research presentations will be on Saturday, as well as a keynote address by Dr. Chris Crandall from the University of Kansas. The conference will culminate with a luncheon on Saturday.
